First Trimester Pregnancy

The first trimester of pregnancy is normally a challenge period for any pregnant woman, no exception to you I guess. This is the time when your body undergoing many changes as it adjusts to your growing baby and carries the highest risk of miscarriage.

The 1st trimester pregnancy starts from the first day of your last menstrual period up to the end of week 12 pregnant. It means that, by the time you know for real that you are pregnant, you're probably in half of trimester one, which is around 6 weeks pregnancy.

During this time, you may realize some early signs of pregnancy such as your period comes late (or does not come at all), feeling nausea and dizziness, your breasts start swelling and you probably feel extremely tired and emotional too.

If you think you may have pregnant, do not delay in finding out for sure. It is very important as it will play a major impact on your baby development on the way you look after of yourself in this 1st trimester of pregnancy. While still only a tiny embryo, internal organs such as heart and lungs already starting to form. You don't want any of your habit give a bad impact to your growing baby, do you?

All in all, the 1st trimester of pregnancy can be the most exciting and the most draining, although it isn’t always. Every woman will experience different kind of pregnancy. You yourself may experience some or all of the symptoms mentioned here, and possibly not at all! The most important thing to remember is that if anything seems unusual, you can always contact your doctor to make sure all is well.
